TIP Kit

Transparent Display Introduction Package (TIP Kit) offers fully functioning, stand-alone displays capable of turning on out of the box.​ Typically includes​
  • Display with cover glass ​and attached FPC
  • Driving electronics​
  • Power supply​
  • May or may not come with ​electronics enclosure​

LIP Kit

Lamination Introduction Package (LIP Kit) offers displays that must be laminated into glass or polycarbonate before operating. Typically includes
  • Dummy samples for lamination trials
    • Glass cut to display shape/size
    • Glass cut to display shape/size with attached FPC
  • Display with no cover glass
    • 0.7 mm glass thickness with attached FPC
    • Driving electronics
    • Power supply

What is the lead time for a customized display development?

It depends on the complexity of the display design. The typical development time of a custom display is 12-14 weeks. To start, you may request a custom display by submitting a form. What customization can be done?

We can customize the content being displayed, the size, shape, and thickness of the display glass. We can laser cut the display glass with precision and drill holes in the glass. What interfaces are supported?

Interface is customizable. Typically our displays support standard interfaces like RS485, I2C, CAN and NMEA.

Where are LUMINEQ transparent displays used?

LUMINEQ transparent displays are used to display information where see-through visibility is important, such as on the windshields, on glass or polycarbonate vehicle windows/doors, or for the optical devices.
