October 1, 2021, Espoo - Beneq ALD Solutions and Lumineq Displays have been incorporated as independent subsidiaries under their parent company, Beneq Group Oy.
Beneq Group Oy has announced that as of October 01, 2021, Beneq Oy and Lumineq Oy will continue as independent companies in the ALD solutions and display businesses, respectively.
Tommi Vainio has been appointed President of Beneq, and Petri Schroderus has been appointed President of Lumineq.
Beneq Group Oy will maintain full ownership of the two subsidiaries, providing them with shared services and financial support.
“The new arrangement will clarify structure, improve business focus and enhance leadership,” said Jukka Nieminen, CEO of Beneq Group.
“Beneq will continue its accelerated global growth in semiconductor ALD and other advanced ALD applications, while Lumineq continues to focus on opportunities within the automotive and optical segments, supplying the most transparent displays in the world," Nieminen said.
As a strategic investment company, Beneq Group will seek inorganic growth opportunities, such as majority acquisitions and corporate venture capital investments in technologies and business models that complement those in its existing portfolio. The Group is forecast to reach a revenue of 38 MEUR and employ 210 staff by the end of 2021.
